Milton Ochoa, who is the third generation of a family of mezcaleros, is innovating in the production of Artisanal Mezcal in Sahuayo, Michoacán by distilling organic agaves and employing traditional techniques such as the use of underground volcanic rock ovens, substantially reducing the characteristic smoke of mezcal to highlight other complex flavors.

 

His approach highlights the importance of sustainability and deep respect for the terroir, offering drinkers an authentic and unique experience that captures the essence of the Sahuayo Region.
